We’re proud to announce that Ukraine’s Electronic Health System (eHealth) has been recognized as one of the most successful digital public services and officially included in the GovTech Intelligence Hub – a global knowledge-sharing platform created by the World Economic Forum, GGTC Berlin, and GGTC Kyiv.
The Hub brings together innovative and high-impact government technology (GovTech) initiatives from around the world, serving as a space for sharing best practices, strategic frameworks, and real-world case studies in digital public governance. The inclusion of eHealth in this initiative highlights the maturity, scale, and value of Ukraine’s healthcare digital transformation.
With over 37 million patients, more than 400,000 healthcare professionals, and 17,000+ medical institutions registered, eHealth is one of the most complex and high-load public IT infrastructures in the country. It processes and securely stores over 4 billion electronic medical records, enabling digital prescriptions, referrals and other essential healthcare services.
At Edenlab, we’ve been at the core of eHealth’s architectural design and technical implementation from its earliest stages. We are deeply honored to see this long-term effort recognized internationally, especially as the system continues to evolve and integrate new components to better serve patients, healthcare providers, and government stakeholders.
This recognition reflects not only technological excellence but also the system’s role in improving trust, transparency, and accessibility in the public health sector – demonstrating how GovTech innovation can scale to meet the real needs of millions.
